@SeaMonkey
Can you show us the design you sent to MerNation for the painting job? There is something I would be curious to check :)
Thank you so much for your nice words, Julianne, Emma, Yulia, Keiris, Jamie, Ocean Whisper and Jaffa!!! It makes me happy that you like my new work.
@Emma: No, it does not hinder me in any way because I made the padding very soft. And, it is of advantage that I am a former ballet dancer, so I can point my feet very much ;-)
Here´s a picture of the sand dragon that inspired me for this tail (which I now call sand dragon tail):

Beautiful work! Congratulations!
Thanks Pearlie!!! Since in my opinion you are the master of the tailmakers here, that´s high praise
It's no secret I love all dragons. And dragon tails ;)
i didnt draw one. i just sent color swatches and told them wut i wanted. it took a little playing around the get this end result.
SeaNymph that tail is gorgeous!
Arion i actually drew just the ankle fins and the dorsal how i wanted them shaped. and yes, i agree biut it was v very hard getting them to understand wut was inside my head for it. i actually had a pattern that i wanted for the fluke but they got as close as they could i reckon. im still well happy with it. im gonna be having them paint my other tail and switch out the monofinsoon as soon as i decide what colors i want.
tx vicky and arion. arion, erin, lauren, and mike were so patient with me tryna get across to them how i wanted it. and the tail is so very well made. ima make a couple of tiny changes. im gonna make the dorsal and fluke edges shredded. im also making a shell top for it right now and am gonna repaint my octopus top like a blue ring from australia
Celeste, the tail in my icon pic is the one ill be repainting and i agree, theyre tops
Wow SeaNymph your new tail is gorgeous and SeaMonkey i think they did a great job on your tail too!!!!
SeaNymph, that's one of the most beautiful tails I've ever seen. And I LOVE the M. Peña inspiration. I've always wanted one of those dragons.
SeaNymph! I'm blushing!
well, you invented the single-scale method. ;)
Edit: and has sparkles.
Seanymph, that tail is GLORIOUS. Definitely one of the prettiest I've seen in a while! [emoji7] You have talent!

im a photographer but i cant video or shoot myself while floppin around on the beach, so ima get a friend who is a professional photographer to shoot me. hopefully i can get the hubs to do some underwater video since i bought a camera just for that. the rapid fin fits much better than the competitor in my other tail. it hurts my feet big time, so ima change it out. tx to the girls i talked to on here i now know why it hurts my feet. tx girls i owe ya one.
I took one look at these pictures and thought, Ah, she's the Green Dragon I saw last year; this is a different tail yet it has her style and is still dragon-themed! :mermaid kiss: It, you, and the environment in which you are swimming look amazing (the lights suggest a pool, yet those decorative sculpture pieces/masonry/paintings? suggest what looks not unlike a set)!
My newest baby! Spandex and what I like to call latex (the paint was mainly latex aha) mix tail. She has a Finis Competitor monofin.

My simple top with fins to match :)
Still a bit of a work in progress. The yellow color was supposed to be a really nice gold that looked amazing with the other colors, but it dried very yellow... Either I'll try a different gold paint or I'll bring that copper down a bit, really like that one :)
I'll be spamming the photoshoot and fabric tail appreciation threads in a bit...
Kalani, that tail is ridiculously amazing! And the fins are so cute. :D
