Finfolk Productions: anyone ordered a tail from them? I just did!

I just woke up and saw this picture. I had my brain exploding from such amazingness! (Is that a word?)

They are all the special tails they made for NCMerfest :D

The yellow/ purple one with the new fluke reminds me of a leafy sea dragon :D

But I'd have to say the pink and yellow tail with the dark blue stripes is my fave. Followed by the yellow and pink with the light blue and then the purple and yellow with the purple striped. They make brightly coloured tails look SO AMAZING!

Mine's big at the hips, too. You really can't notice as long as the waist is snug, and yes, it does suction in the water :)

They're all super gorgeous tails but not what I would wear.

Omg, I can't stop drooling over all the special tails they made for Merfest!!! I love the Frozen tail and the dark purple, pink yellow one with the dark stripes, all the way in the top right corner, *sigh* if only I could win one of those, it would make my Year!

I've looked at those tails so many times today! They are just so breathtaking!

I LOVE the dark blue stripes and spots from the tail in the middle. I might take them into the design of my second tail :swoon:

Oh my gosh, BEYOND excited! :D It is a tad big for me in the hips, but I'm hoping the water will suction it to me a bit better. There's an indoor pool here, they let me swim with my fabric tail before a few years ago. I'm hoping a silicone one won't be any different to them. :)

The tail in the middle with the stripes is Bryn's personal tail while the iridescent purple one under it is Abby's.

Melaina and Sirenia, thank Q for letting me know, that was actually the only thing I was concerned about because the bubble bothers me, but it's not too noticable on camera. :D Oh gosh, Arion, you killed me with that comment, haha thank Q. I'm very flattered. :$ :)

Ahhh I saw that tail post this morning too! @-@ So many gorgeous tails, I wish merfest wasn't across the country and expensive to fly to. I want to see them all in action! :(

I wish I could be as excited as you all are about the tons of extravagant tails being taken to Merfest, but I'm angry now.

Weeks ago I talked to the twins and they were still going to try and have my tail done for Merfest, and even use it as a show peice. Since then I've gotten no communication, no updates, only photos of all these tails none if which are mine. I'm frustrated, stressed, and I feel very betrayed. It's really not ok to tell someone, especially a customer, something- and then do something entirely different. I'm site there is a reason for what us happening, but I'd sure like to know what it is and I'm in the dark. :-/

I feel your frustration but I'm positive there is a good explanation about what is happening.
I believe in them. I have seen them working a lot. They really did their best to meet the expectations of everyone.

I guess some disappointments just couldn't be avoided :(

I'm sure too, Arion. I believe in the girls and I'm sure I will get my tail by when I need it, and I respect how much and how hard they work. I'm just disappointed that I was told my tail would be at least mostly complete by now, and they didn't have the courtesy to tell me it wouldn't be when things changed. It's a lot easier to be understanding when there's good communication.

That said... It is what it is and I wrote my first post quickly (and reacted negatively) right after receiving bad news about something else. Hakuna matata.
