My mermaid name is Nerieda, I am 23 years old and live in Colorado Springs, CO. I have always loved mermaids, and when I started university that is actually when mermaid schools started to get popular and jokingly I asked my parents if I could go to mermaid school. Welp, now I am four years into university, have an associates in sign language studies and might run away to a community college in Flordia to get a research diving certification and an ocean conservation associates to help my dream of being a professional mermaid that teaches special needs kids about ocean conservation and sea life. Right now I have no tail, trying to get a job to save up. Uh. Yea. Thats me.

Welcome Nerieda to the mer network. I feel your pain, it's taken me a couple of months of saving and buying a bit each week so I can make my own tail. I'm nearly there but in between that I've managed to save for a couple monofins. Got the sweam hydra 2nd hand off Ebay for £30 even though it had never been used, got the mermaid Linden monofin and the Finis Luna arriving Tuesday. You'll get there
