Hi I'm kinda new to mermaiding and I've been saving up for my own silicone tail from mer tailor but I didn't know if it was a good investment just yet since I'm still growing. Anyone know how long a tail would fit me?(not exact but like an estimate how much it will stretch)
I had a Finfolk Productions tail made for my 10 year old daughter and we chose a monofin a bit larger than her size, made the waist extra high and she has had her tail just over a year now and it still fits perfectly! Not sure what Mertailor tails are like? :D
silicone in itself will only last so long depending on what it was cut with and how it was made. it gets hard over time. Loses stretch. So it may not be the best choice for you given that factor and the growing

It depends on how old you are too, and which of Mertailors tails you were planning on getting. :)
