Craft Foam tail
I found this listing on Etsy:
https://www.etsy.com/se-en/listing/2..._home_active_3
Which is a tail made form fabric and craft foam.
It isn't advertised either as a dry or wet tail, but I'm thinking it wouldn't hold up that well in water.
What do you think?

I saw it too. I don't think it would hold up AT ALL. foam isn't very sturdy.

I woundn't trust it. I use craft foam for making some of my molds and I have had people ask if this is possible. Even if you find a way to keep it together, it will float like crazy. Not worth it
-
Even if it'd hold up okay, how the heck are you gonna sink?
-
It would definatly be a dry tail. It would just fall apart in the water let alone not being able to to sink. It looks like it would fall apart even moving out of the water...
-
I think it would get dirty easily too and then it would be hard to clean it. You could sit on a dock and then the wood would leave a brown mark on the foam that you couldn't wash off, it might scratch easily too.
