I've made several mermaid avatars on Secondlife (but they're horrible) So I looked at the ones you could buy for your av and now I want to make some tails like these!!!!! But I dunno if you'd be able to swim in them or not without them sliding off or just weighing you down.

Actually, Aeolius, I had an idea for sea dragon tails, where the actual tail extended past your feet, and flippers (instead of monofin) disguised as paddles/fins protruding from the side of the tail.
AND NOW I log into second life to swim a little :P

Yeah, that happens quite a bit.. with 7 kids I end up with loads of afk time. ;)

Ooo! I'm on Second Life too. I used to make mermaid tails a while back. I'm trying to get back into it now with mesh, but there's lots for me to learn.
It's really fun Mermaiding in second-life sometimes. I like going to really large bodies of 'water' and just swim around while listening to meditative or ambient music. A good substitute when there's no water nearby in real-life. To be honest, I don't yet have the courage (or resources) to go mermaiding in real-life, so Second Life is nice for that too.
Some Sims permit not, others not so much. Try the Haven of Mermaids, where it's a tad more adult. I have a house, there. :)Quote:
