My merhusband and I went to our first mermeet the other day, just by chance, having been invited by someone we went to mermaid academy with. We're not on facebook so don't have direct contact with the local mers.
So after about 18 months of not seeing any other mers on our swims but swimming every week at our local pool we met someone who works for the same company merhusband works for! Neither of them had any idea.
The funny thing is I haven’t been in water since 2013 minus showers and baths. My client caught me on a private phone call to and heard me say mermaid so she started talking to me and I told her that the were my second favorite behind water dragons so she sent me here. I bet there are at least 1-2 ppl I know on here personally. I’ll keep searching lol. I like this place a lot though. I am especially glad they have an app.
