How do you make Starfish Hair Clips??

1) How do you paint/dye them? What kind of paint?
2) How do you attach the clip to them? What kind of clip?
3) What kind of glue should I use to attach gems, net, etc.?

You can buy dyed starfish at the crafts store, or paint them with acyrlics.
Glue, tie or wire them to a clip, whatever kind is best for your hair.
I personally am fond of tacky glue and, for tough to glue things, E600 glue. Both at crafts stores.

***Starfish will rot in water- use them for dry tails only!***

Thanx 4 ur help! Is there anyway I can make the starfish NOT rot in the water? a clear sealent or something?

Make a mold of one, then cast with something that won't rot? Encase it in clear resin? (like mummies!)
Most fixatives I use for my art aren't thick enough to work for you- they are just thin sprays. I wish I knew more to help you out!
