Fluke sculpt and drainage hole question

Ok so my new mono fin is coming in the mail that I plan on using in a silicone tail. Along the sides up towards the feet the mono fin itself gets thicker, how do i sculpt to accommodate for this without my fluke being too thick or heavy?

Second question, where are the best spots to put drainage holes and how do people hide them? My thought was to put four at the end of the fluke, two on each side where the fluke meets the scale and maybe even some little ones on the bottom edge of any extra fins. Too much?

I'd put them where the fin lines are. That way its easier to hide.

Even though I have asked him to, I hardly doubt Jesse will add drain holes to my tail, if he doesn't am I able to do it myself?/

Why wouldn't a tail maker put drainage holes in a tail?
