I've started to see other mers doing this to help with learning to make tails, so I thought this would be a good idea as well if I want to learn to make tails (as I'm always broke since moving to a new place). I've posted it on Facebook (personal account), and I have one person already that seems to be for sure ordering one from me, but I was wondering if I could get any other interest? I want to make two "at cost" tails, which I'm estimating to be around $900 each. I have tons of costume-making experience, a bit of casting experience (but mostly with jewelry and cosplay stuff), and sculpting/art experience. I'm going to clean out my mother's garage tomorrow so that I can set up a workshop. The scales will not be the craft foam circles - I've decided to custom mold my scales instead. (However, I will be doing a full scale sheet instead of individual scales) Here's the fluke design I'll be doing.
