Here's a pic of my kelp top and bracer in action at a ren faire last weekend. I got sooooo many complements and gave out your Etsy info right and left. I couldn't take two steps without people asking about its awesomeness.
Also, I too want a striped octopus.
Also, hi Storm! Pod told me he enjoyed hanging out with you :-P

Elodea, I love that picture so much! I'm going to have to show it to my sister, she's been wanting to put together a nereid costume and I was planning to make her a top for it.

Also, maybe I should get some business cards printed up...

What sizes do you offer for the kelp bra and how much do they cost? Beautiful

I can make them in any size! I'm working on finally making an actual Etsy listing for them (it's taken me a while to work out how to do that, go me), but at the moment I'm charging $150 plus the bra base (you can send me your own), or $175 if you don't want to send me a bra and I'll supply one. I prefer to have people send me a bra that they know fits, because that takes a lot of the guesswork out of it; and I've had enough "fun" bra shopping even for myself that I know that sizes and shapes can vary a lot across brands :P Also, some bra sizes like larger or unusual ones can be harder to find, from what I understand. But the way I made the kelp, I can apply it to any size bra, and I can add extra pieces if I need to cover especially large cups. And no two ever end up looking exactly the same, which is nice.

Oh, and a quick poll if anyone feels like helping me out: how big around are your wrists? I wanna get a general idea of how much people's wrist sizes vary and what some average or common sizes are, for the kelp bracelets. I can make them custom of course, but I was also thinking of just making a few ready-to-go ones I could list for people to buy, and then just charge a little more for custom size/color.

6" around. When I was a bigger girl, it was 7".

Thanks everyone! This is helpful! Mine are 6.5" around, and the bracelet I made for Elodea was a bit tight on me but fit her perfectly. Interesting.

Also, I added the cuttlefish and kelp top listings to my Etsy And if people are interested, I might make a separate listing for striped octopus? I'm going to experiment with some different cuttlefish colors, too.

I love the striped octopus, and yay more cuttlefish!

I'm 6.5". :P I'd probably want mine to be larger though so I wouldn't have to worry about it getting stuck on my hand.

I already sold both cuttlefish I had listed, so I have to make some more now!

I'm going to try making the kelp bracelets in larger sizes, cuz I don't like having things stuck on my hand either!

Any chance of buying just a strand of the kelp? An estimate on the price of a goldish/green? I have an idea for a top and the kelp strand would be a component.

So cute! Well, as you might be able to tell, I adore cephalopods! In fact, I'm working on a new one right now, something that a lot of people have been asking me to do and I'll also put up a listing for the striped octopus soon, but I was actually thinking of doing something similar to that guy as well! Everyone likes teh cute.
