Sooo I thought I was done the top but it's a liiiiittttle too boobilicious lol

So I was playing around and designing and I think if I add some of the darker fabric it will look really nice, plus it will tie it in from the bottom of the tail more

Cute! I have seen tops that are underwire bras covered in fabric. That might get you the coverage if that's what you're looking for.

Today's the day! Just pulled an all nighter to finish it off but I got it done! I totally was running around packing and didn't get a pic of the finished result but a swim is the first thing on my to do list!!
At the airport now unfortunately I had some drama with the monofin, not too bad tho, gave myself lots of extra time just in case!
I had called westjet last week to see how I could bring my monofin on the plane as it doesn't fit in any bag at all. They said that if I was worried about damage I could carry it through the airport Nd check it at the gate, so that way it would be on the "top of the pile" like they do with strollers
The lady that checked us in said the same thing. So west jet was cool but airport screening was not.

They escorted me back out of screening to the oversize baggage where they had to swab me, open the box and swab and scan everything inside. They were really nice after they saw what it was and I explained that I was only going through the airport with cause the West jet lady told me to

So security is hand loading it ( no belts) and put fragile stickers all over it

Yup both were fine! Had my first swim in my tail today!!!

It's fits great! I was worried it would get too loose in the water but I think it's perfect!! *happydance*
There's video too but it's on my moms camera so when I get it I'll post it. I tried doing a flip at one point but the pool is waayy too shallow lol

I only didn't like the very last shot of me, all squinty eyed. I had been swimming for 3 hours and all my pretty makeup was gone! But still love the video!

Hiked up to Waimea falls and got some good pics!

You have to wear a life jacket if you're swimming but I tried to just stay on the shallow end and take pics until the life guard on the megaphone was all "even mermaids must wear a life jacket!" That cracked everyone up
