Design a Tail on Picmonkey

SO idk if someone has already discovered this. If so just tell me and I'll delete this thread. I was playing around on picmonkey adding colors to engagement rings and I thought, "oooh! I could do this to mermaid tails!"

-Go to Picmonkey.com
-Upload a picture of a mermaid tail.
-Turn it to black and white (the wand icon will have the filter for you)
-Hit the lipstick Icon on the side
-Click the Lip Tint tool
-And use the brush to paint designs on the tail

You'll have to click apply before selecting a different color every time. Click the rainbow looking square to customize using the color map.

And there you go! Here's some of what I've done.

Gorgeous! Fifi did something similar by putting other people's colour schemes onto a Finfolk tail base, but unfortunately the images in that thread are mostly broken.

This is awesome!! I used a Merbella template and using this means that I don't have to clean up the edges, because it doesn't go outside the lines

here's a quick one I did with puuuuuurdy colours

I pulled the trigger and decided to order my first silicone tail. I used this method for the design and it worked really well! Thank you so much for sharing! Since I'm spending so much on a tail I'm glad I can save a few bucks on colored pencils.
