Event in Kissimmee, FL in January looking for Mers

Hey everyone! I've been contacted by the founder of The Sky Captains Faire, a steampunk convention set to happen in January, regarding mermaids. I'm sure Merman will be welcome. I still haven't heard anything back so I am assuming there will be no paying gigs involved at this point, if I hear any different I will be sure to post here with an update.

I'm living in Kissimmee right now! I'm totally interested, but at the moment only my fabric tail is presentable. I'm trying to get sequins onto my neoprene tail and my other neoprene tail is in SC. Are they going to put a constraint or preference on the tail type?
