Silicon and latex
How do these two react to one another? Does anybody know? Could you put silicon on top of latex (or the other way round) and would it stick?
-
Latex and silicone inhibit each other. If you are lucky enough to get one to cut because you didn't have the other in the room, the second one definately will not.

Well latex inhibits the cure of silicone (to the point you can't even wear latex gloves when working with it) but if the silicone is cured it won't affect the latex curing, although latex would not stick to silicone

Nothing really "inhibits" latex from curing (since latex cures as the liquid evaporates from it). However, silicone will not cure anywhere near latex.
Silicone also will not stick to anything except other silicones. You might be able to stick together a cured latex piece and a cured silicone piece with a silicone-based adhesive (like aquarium glue), but I don't think there's really any other way to combine the two.
