    I got cleavage, I just sit on it.

    For those who are looking for something not so cleave-tastic, have you considered a halter-style top? You could probably modify a supporting bra under it, but you wouldn't have the scooping water/busting out all over problem. A lot of these are crocheted, so you could go with a fishnet look while keeping the girls under control.

    I love this idea!! I have the reverse problem you all do...I couldn't breast feed my babies,so my boobs went from a perky 34 B to a DD. They went back to B,but VERY SAGGY with lots of stretch marks. I have to find a clever way to hide my icky problem

    Sports bras are great to wear for swimming especially when you are jumping off of a diving board or a rope swing, etc. I don't know if other girls have this problem but for me swimsuit tops will come up when I jump into the water - even when I tie them as tightly as I can. It makes it hard to have fun jumping off of stuff into the water when you are constantly worrying if you can quickly fix your top if need be before you surface. Anyways, I have found that sports bras don't have that issue!

    what have this thread taught me??? Well, i think it's evident that bra's need to be designed and made by women, not a man.

    Can someone please get me back to the ocean before I suffocate... I need the water......

    THIS!!! And do you know there is a study showing evidence that Bra's actually don't really do anything and cause us back pain and other issues!

    I bought a new bra to make a top. Then decided the scale material would be too hard to shape properly (I wanted it to be like a swim halter). So I chose a new bra that was more shaped and painted it. Now I'm attempting to attach the scale material to the bottom and back. I looked and looked before opting to go this route but found when you're a 42 H it's almost impossible to find a cute top- unless I want to make one from silicone (which I do plan on doing at some point).I'll post pictures when I'm finished!

    I'm a 38H/40GG and I'm hand painting a sports bra with metallic scales! I'm using Lumieres, which is what people use for tails. I love mine so far ❤️

    Twilight darkens, yet there in the shade,
    Lies a glimmering shadow, the wild mermaid;

    Will you stay as you are, or be delivered to the waves?

    Hi fellow mers! I found a cheapish swimsuit top at Target. It was $22 but most importantly an XL fits my DDD comfortably. I've worn it around for a couple of hours and I love it because no nip slips! They are also one of the few chain stores I've found that sells D size tops. There are a couple of different styles in this size. Comfort and security! Yay
