The YMCA in Lawton might. You have to pay, like, six bucks if you're not a member but that covers any liability issues.

That doesn't sound too bad. I think the Salvation Army center in Sapulpa does too. I've been told by quite a few people that they will allow you to swim, only have to buy like $5. I need to get down there and ask if they would allow tails.

I am moving to Oklahoma in less than two weeks! Is anyone near Okemah? Its very easy for me to get to OKC or Tulsa if anyone is interested

Thank you so much Ava! Its a much better place for me I will be living on top of a hill,overlooking a small lake,which I plan on swimming in CONSTANTLY!!! I'd love to meet up sometime,I only have one merfriend and she's in Phoenix,so that isn't helping me any!!

Well my best friend and I are in Tulsa area and we both love swimming in our tails any chance we get. Would love to have more mer friends and we should all meet up for a swim sometime. You should definitely hit up Blue Hole in Salina when its hot in the summer. That water is super cold!

So it sounds like it'll probably be a little while before my tail is ready...she just got my monofin last Friday, which means she can start now! But I fear it'll be way too cold for lake swimming (my house is literally just above Okemah lake) perhaps when it arrives, we can swim at a pool??

I'm totally up for pool swimming. We just need to check into places that allow tails inside. Not sure what places would though. One of the local Salvation Army down where I live have a gym with pool, but they require you to have a membership. They do yearly membership though so it might be worth it lol xD

Well let's check into that! I got word from my tail maker that it's ready for paint!! So it won't be much longer now!!

Neoprene/silicone. She showed me a test paint and sadly, it's not dark enough...so she'll have to order more paint now
