    Mermaids in a Magazine!

I don't know if this is the right place for this, sorry if it isn't.

I was at barnes and noble the other day and I was flipping through the recent edition of the cosplay magazine and I found a whole article on mermaids! I didn't have much time to read it but I remember there was a picture with caption that said the tail was made by merbella (i'm about 90% thats what it said). Thought it was cool!

It was the one with yaya on the cover

That's really cool! The link doesn't have anything about the story, but there's a youtube ad for that magazine that show's the mermaid article.

A friend of mine recently brought me a copy. I haven't had the chance to read it yet though.

That's really neat, I should go to the book store and look for the magazine.

Bought it last week. It has some really nice press on some of the tailmakers as well as the designer, Robert Short (SPLASH). Very cool to look out how elaborate some of the Cosplay attendees get with their costumes.

I've met Yaya and worked with her at BCC's Costume Contest in 2013. She was really nice and sweet and such little thing too! I'm 5'3" and towered over her. hehe but she was so adorable and gave the best squishy hugs all day!

I worked for Katsucon, Yaya Hans' 2nd favorite convention behind her hometown Dragoncon. Saw her back at katsucon 8 (2002). She's good and all but cosplay ambassador (rolls eyes).
