I know I started a thread like this years ago, but I figured I'd give it a whirl again . Threads like these make people feel good and such can be great for community morale.

Princess KL is always working hard to advocate for animals, autism, and alternative mer lifestyles (like being dry!) she has grown so much in the past year and I'm very proud of her
Raina is very much a pillar of the mer-community. She is compassionate and does a lot for children, which I respect

Raina's passion for helping children is only tempered by her kindness. She has keen insight and intelligence, ambition, grace and an inner light that shines like a beacon when she swims. I admire her fierce loyalty to friends, mers, tailmakers and people she has taken up for that are too meek to do it themselves. She's one of the original mers on here and has worked tirelessly to help others when she can. Not always an easy task while trying to run a successful business, write books, train new mers, keep a successful relationship, visit kids in the hospital, fight chronic illness and do it with a smile (braces and all.) Maybe we should call her SuperMer!!!
That was a️ to️ right there.

Raina is actually one of the main reasons I got into mermaiding (and oddly Iona too cause her deviant art page is GORGEOUS) and she does SO MUCH GOOD in the world! She also has a beautiful voice!

Oh I'm so glad you started this! I've thought about it now and then, because I enjoyed similar threads on a couple other forums long ago.
As for the mer above me- Raina does amazing things for the mer community and when I see videos of her working with kids, I get the feeling that she's really doing something 'meant to be.'
DeepBlue is a little.... Deep. She's been going through personal struggles lately and I didn't realize until i read her post in "Living with mental health issues" today just how many problems and conditions we share.
Blue- I apologize for stalking you on MerNetwork today and I hope someday we can meet in person. It'd be cool to know someone who has been through/is going through the same things, you're right, and I am VERY glad you have strongly supportive family and friends to stay with you during extremely hard circumstances.
Deepblue is a very kind person with an interest and knowledge in a wide array of topics.
I always look forward to her posts. I've learned a lot from them.
The forums wouldn't be the same to me if she were not here.
Echidna is an amazing advocate for animals
