    2nd swim in rapid monofin

    I finally got some video of me swimming in my finis rapid today. I'm a beginner, this was only the 2nd chance I've had to use it and only 1 hr each time, so be gentle please. :-)

    Yay! Have you tried the arms in front method?

    It is less stressful on the body. I don't get as tired as swimming the other way, where the shoulders bob up and down.

    Just what you see with the kickboard so far... arms in front holding the kickboard. If you watch the video, my shoulders weren't bobbing up and down.

    Can you move the top half of your body or is that too painful? Please don't take it the wrong way, it just looks a little like you're relying on your knees to move you along.

    I'm getting most of my movement from my core, as it should be. The leg movement is more a result of the water pushing my legs than any real effort I'm putting into it.
