Thank you Ransom! My doctor says that we can start putting me on a normal diet again at the six week mark. At first I'll be eating eggs and oatmeal. But once I start that I'll probably be able to fully eat again at the nine week mark!!!

Hi Keto! Thanks for introducing me to this thread and I am so glad you got through your procedure! I’ll pray for a speedy recovery because God is good!
Other merfriends, I ask that you pray for my grandpa. He has been in the hospital for over a month and my family is gathering at the hospital now to “make some tough decisions”. The guilt is already setting in. Why didn’t I spend more time with him? Why didn’t I ask more about his life?
I appreciate your your prayers and know that if my grandpa goes home he will be in the presence of God and with my two cousins who have already left us, but it will still a large void in my heart and in my family.
Thank you merfriends.
Thank you! I'm so sorry about your grandpa. He and you will definitely be in my prayers.

Will pray for God's peace and wisdom to be with you all, whatever happens.

Sorry, thought it best to split into 2 posts. My wife is unfortunately now bed-bound, and she's suffering not only from her illness but cerebellar degeneration. She can no longer walk unaided and it's a terrible struggle getting her to the hospital for appointments. We're uncertain about long term prospects, but we have to plan assuming she won't get better.
Hopefully there'll be enough to place her in a home where she'll get the specialised care she needs, and I'm able to earn enough to afford it. Right now I'm struggling under the load and added responsibility, and I fear I'll crack or spend so much time running errands I fall behind on my work. It's all the responsibility and none of the help
Keep us in prayer, fellow mers in Christ. We'll make it out of this, one way or another.

I'm going to pray for your wife ransom, I'll pray that when she is better enough to dance all around the room with no assistance. Jumping, twirling ,groving to songs that no one hears except for her. She is an extremely lucky woman to have you in her life. Count the blessings you have with her and pray. God will listen and hear your prayers because his beloved daughter on earth is suffering and needs his healing hand. I know that she'll get better. Just have hope!

You are never alone.
There are about 7,266,786,800 people in the world.
So mathematically speaking,
Even if your are one in a million there are still about 72,667 people who are just like you.
Best of luck and happy wishes today! May all you do be done for His glory!
Thanks guys the event went great! I am exhausted. The kids were very happy!

I haven't been as active here as I once was -- caregiving eats up most of my time
My mermaid princess is, to put it mildly, losing hope. She's been bedbound and incontinent for several months, and can't leave her apartment without lots of help. Her doctors are silent on her condition and aren't optimistic about her recovery. We'll have to face the reality that she may be like this (or worse) for the rest of her life.
If God doesn't want to heal her, at least let her be taken home early so she doesn't have to suffer so long.
Please keep our future in prayer, and that He reveals some direction soon. I've no idea what to do or try for any longer.

We'll keep you in our prayers, Ransom. I'm so sorry to hear about your wife. I hope everything goes well.
