    @Momo I was thinking the same thing! Then I looked at a picture. For some reason I was thinking Parrot Cichlid, too. :/

    Not sure how I feel about that thick ankle look. In the one hand, it disguises, on the other, it makes you look short and thick.

    It looks like they use Hydra monofins. The tail shape looks similar to Mermaid Kat's fabric tails too. Maybe they are painted over?

    I don't know, it kind of doesn't bother me, now that I look at it. You said that and I assumed they were using the Finis Mermaid monofin with the massive ankle, but it's a lot nicer than I was expecting. I think they work with it pretty well, for a fabric tail.

    I was right. They use Hydra monofins with a custom cut in it.
