Plastic Scales?

Hello ,

Ive seen from the Make of from H2O and Mako Mermaid that the creator for the Tails glue small plastic scales on the Silicone.
Is there any chance to use this idea for an Dragonskin Tail with a smooth Surface and then use some silicone waterproof glue ?

I think it would be easier and look better to just make a sequin tail then.

Also the often have to reapply those scales, and since they're a tv show and have that kind of money... each of those tails cost about 30000 dollars...

Go with neoprene and sequins.
