Should I post a video on YT of me doing leg lifts in my tail in the bathtub?

Something I've been toying with the idea of for a while, but I'm worried people will laugh at me. I've seen YouTube commenters get downright VICIOUS about mers' swimming abilities, even to those at the top of the community food chain like Hannah and Raina, so I can only imagine how harsh they'd be to someone who's idea of mermaiding is simple exercises. Would you guys enjoy me sharing my exercises, or is a video totally unnecessary?

I would say no, not because it isn't a good idea, but just because I know you're going to get a bunch of merverts commenting on it. I guess you could upload one and then make it so that only people with the URL could see it if you were worried about the merverts? If you aren't that worried though, I'd say go for it!

Thanks for your response, Momo! Yeah my dad would flip out if I got merverts commenting. He doesn't even like it when I post pictures of myself wearing a bra top and a tail

I was just going to say the same thing as Lotus! Disable comments, disable ratings, and if you're uncomfortable with it being public, you could set the video to "unlisted" so that it is only accessible via direct link which you could provide on Mernetwork. I have done the same thing with my unboxing and swim videos. It works great to keep merverts away and prevent random people's negative attitudes from affecting your mojo.
