I actually like the design of the tails alot. You don't often see eel tails plus it goes along with the horror element of the movie.

btw i found it on DVD. It was not an easy find but only has English subs. which i'm ok with. I will let you all know what I think of it when it comes between the 5th of may and the 9th.

As far as I can tell, this DVD has only been issued in a Region 2 version, and unless you have one of those region-free DVD players, you won't be able to watch it on your TV. You can watch it on your computer, though, both VLC and Media Player Classic will play DVDs from any region on your computer's DVD drive.

It's available from Amazon in the USA, but the price is terrible

So I finally managed to find a site streaming this movie and believe me it wasn't easy.
All in all, not a bad movie as far as mermaid movies go. The music was great even with the subtitles and the actors played their characters well.
Very little to almost no CGI and though I know people have mentioned not liking the eel tails, they are done extremely well.
i love have the two sirens/mermaids communicate with each other and even though they are wild animals they are still girls. their relationship is interesting too.
the ending had me me like omg wtf nooo!
but i did fairly enjoy it

it honestly depends on what you go into the movie expecting and wanting. if you're looking for a movie in the same vein as Aquamarine or splash your more than likely not gonna like this but if you've seen the movie She Creature and enjoyed it then you'll love this movie.
