Hello From the Panhandle!
Hi everyone! I'm Sara, and I'm new to Mermaiding. I am a princess actress for children's parties, and my boss just asked me to become a mermaid, and I am super excited! I've been researching and it has brought around a whole new opportunity I've never thought of. Im hoping to learn a lot before the summer (and parties) start. Hopefully I can make this a hobby/job for the future!
Is there anyone else here from the panhandle?

Hello and no, I'm not from the panhandle, just denver. I haven't even seen the south easy part of Colorado let alone Oklahoma or Texas. That is way awesome though that your boss asked you to become a mermaid! I am in the wrong business. I bet you'd do great if the request was made, they wouldn't have asked if the potential wasn't evident.

Oh, thank you! That's so kind, I'm honestly feeling a bit nervous. I need to get to a pool and practice, fast! And maybe track down a monofin...
Colorado, especially the Denver area, is very beautiful! My brother used to live around there. It's very nice to meet you!

Well dang you got me all excited when I read Panhandle. I am in the Florida Panhandle not the Texas one. I have only found one other mer here in the Florida Panhandle.
I checked the MerNetwork member map here: http://mernetwork.com/index/dcMembermap.php
It looks like karibug is in the Texas Panhandle! Unfortunately it looks like she was last active on this site in 2014.

That was her magic, she could still see the sunset, even on those darkest days. - Atticus

Thanks all! Too bad that karibug isn't active, she's right close to me!
