Mertailor Partial silicone Heel Strap

Hello my friends! So I have recently gotten my Mertailor partial silicone, and it is amazing! Almost perfect!

I am having just one problem... The heel strap on the mono fin keeps slipping off my heels wile I'm swimming. And if I tighten it as much as I can, the fabric rubs my skin raw.

Has anyone else had this problem? Or does anyone have a solution or idea on how I can fix/rig the mono fin?

I have thought about getting snorkel socks that go above the ankle to keep the strap from rubbing my skin raw and hopefully help it stay on my heels...

Swim socks are a godsend. Especially neoprene scuba socks. Just the little ankle socks will save your heels, and give the mono strap a little something more to grip to.
