    EBay Fabric Tails w/unique monofins

Anyone heard or seen anything about these unique tails? They look pretty cool. I'm sure the quality could be improved with a little effort the buyers part but not a bad base to start with.
I must be a mermaid, Rango. I have no fear of depths and a great fear of shallow living.

So I ordered a tail off of a website called wish. My tail is very slimily except I have a basic mono fin. All I can say is that for the price it is great to start swimming in and get a feel for hat a fin feels like. Honestly though it is worth spending a little more and getting a tail from somewhere like Sundials or Magictails. They are better fabric and fit, etc.

I have one of these. Its ok. About the quality you'd expect. The monofin is just a piece of acrylic in a neoprene bag style thing like...um... fin fun, I think it is. The acrylic broke 20 min into my first swim with it. I replaced it with a cut to fit piece of office chair mat with the pokeys cut off and completely covered in duct tape. I also made duct tape booties for more control and then I put it all back in the cover. This is my practice/ fun tail. I really like it but I dont perform in it. The print looks really nice imo.

They're cheap quality spandex. Another mer bought one and she had troubles with it quality wise.

Oh man..acrylic is a terrible idea inside of a tail, I don't know why they thought that would be a good idea

Okay, I am finally on my laptop instead of my phone. I have one of their tails. It's a clear, flexible insert like you'd find in the older Finfun mermaid tails. I'd say if you like that tail and order it - if you have any sort of crafting skills, cut out a new one. The neoprene surrounding the insert isn't bad and well sewn. The tail skin I have isn't bad. It's on par with some of the bathing suits I own from department stores. It does come with a bathing suit top - but the top is a tied bando style. I happen to like mine, but if I wanted to make it better, I will have to make a new insert. I paid 101.95 for mine. So, it's on the cheaper side. And, if anyone needs the info - the brand is Mermaker. They originally are from taobao (Chinese shopping site).

I'm thinking of taking some plastic and making a new insert - but here's a picture of mine so you can see one on and not in a photoshopped image.

It bugs me alot that the monofin part of the tail is quite small. I would expect that for a child size tail, but not on an adult.

Though I do like the scale print. Its different and unique.
