Hey, Arion! That's pretty rad! I like the mixture of tails.
@Pearlie Mae, well, it's kind of stitched to my bra, in that picture, and I think it needs a lining. It was also supposed to open in front, so that we could hang the fins from our belts, which are also incomplete.

Hey fellow mers, I have created a fantasy art dragon inspired silicone tail (and bra). I saw a green dragon figurine somewhere in the internet and then.... bang, that was my future mermaid tail! It took me nine months to finish it but now itīs done. I already swam with it and it did well. I learned a lot by making it, made a lot of mistakes in the beginning, wanted to give up a million times, but now Iīm happy that I worked away difficult times and that I really finished it. Hope you like it! :-)

Holy crap, that is amazing! I love it!
Oh my god. Wait, you're kidding, right? That thing is insane! That's better than the majority of professional tails out there!
she believed she could, so she did

WOW That's fantastic!
Really gorgeous! Just amazing.
The subtleties in that tail are astounding!
I must be a mermaid, Rango. I have no fear of depths and a great fear of shallow living.

WOW! That tail is stunning great job does not begin to cover it!
Oh my gosh! That tail is absolutely gorgeous! Is the belt silicone? Because I've never seen a belt sculpted on a tail like that before. The detailing on it is spectacular! And I LOVE the veins in the fluke, they look so natural. Seriously, great job. This tail's amazing.

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments, cannot discribe how happy I am to read all of them!!! :-) I have been a sculptor and painter all my life and in the last years I used to create silicone mermaid belts, bracers and other stuff to get used to the characteristics of silicone and some other materials. Iīm an artist, a perfectionist in detailing and quite an experienced mermaid but what I was unsure about were the swimming abilities of my tail. Is it usable? Stable? Buoyancy neutral? Does it swim fluently and elegantly? Thank god, yes. But it was difficult to achieve this by intent because of my lack of experience in technical tailmaking. I think, all of this is high risk. You invest a lot, work so hard months and months but thereīs no guarantee that this thing would survive even one dive or propel you even one meter. It just came out great but that was also.... luck. As for the veins: I love it that you discribe them natural!! (because my main job is veterinary anatomist ;-))

Oh my gosh, SeaNymph, that tail is incredible! As someone who used to have a HUUUUGE obsession with dragons, I approve the hell out of that tail! The built-in belt at the top is awesome!
And I agree with Sabie, I'd LOVE to see how it moves in the water!
