Ok so I posted a pic in the "Show us your tails" topic but I wanted to post a little bit more about it so I thought I would just create its own topic for now.
Its Green, gold, pink and white. With iridescent green/blue/gold color change over top of the entire tail. Its kinda of like those cars that change colors when they drive by
It has a monofin inside but I specifically designed this tail for the tank so it has a smaller all rubber monofin so the fluke is very soft and flowy in the water makes it easier to maneuver inside the tank. the seams are down the sides but pretty well hidden as we take a very long time on them. It has 6 extra fins, Two larger pectoral fins and 4 smaller fins placed on the side of my calf's. It is silicone and fits like a dream the silicone is very stretchy so its really easy to get on and take off.
I tried to really create something unique unlike any other tail Ive seen to date so I made this tail "Bio luminescent". As you can see, in normal lighting the tail looks normal but under UV lighting (black light) it has spots down the sides that glow bright blue. Also the tips of all the extra fins and the fluke glow as well. It WAY brighter than I thought it was going to be and reacts very fast. I took a quick little video today to try and show whats it looks like. The video was taken with daylight still and you can still see the spots no problem. When its pitch black the tail itself looks purple with bright blue spots.
I'm really proud of this tail and how it turned out. I'm working on another one for someone else that I'm very excited to finish it also has a very unique and beautiful color scheme.
