It's one of those nights I'm bored so I'm trying to keep my mind busy by learning useless facts. Please post if you know of one as this may get interesting. I'll start with the first one.

That Paris one cracks me up. That is so crazy The one random useless fact that bothered me the most two years ago was someone told me that the colors on Fruit Loops means nothing. They are all the same flavors. I made it 34 years up to that point not knowing that. I still don't know why that upset me so much.
I know, I heard that too :o

It's very much true. I haven't ate Fruit Loops since because I still feel a little betrayed. I eat the Opp! All Crunch Berries in place of that now

The FBI one is interesting. That bird though. I had to google search it (under safe search) to find out it's in fact true.
Here are some peacock facts:
- There are around 225 varieties of peafowl (peacocks). One of such variety is called "Buford Bronze black shoulder" in which the peacock is a beautiful black/brown color and the female is white with brown markings.
- Baby peacocks are called peachicks.
- Unlike some birds, peachicks are born fully feathered and they can fly at only 5 days old.
- Peacocks will sometimes kill snakes.
- White peafowl are not albinos - they are just another variety of peafowl. In fact, they are very common.
- Peafowl like to take dust baths to clean their feathers and keep bugs away.
- Peafowl love eating yogurt.
- There is a type of peafowl called a "progressive pied" in which the bird starts off fully or mostly colored and with each year it gets more and more white on its body until eventually it is an almost fully white bird.

Quick jump in on the Paris one: they spray down the street with water most of the year so its super clean and people don't tend to pick up after themselves. Thus when everything freezes over in the winter its all ice and dog poop everywhere. I was there in both summer and winter. Summer was AMAZING and in winter i was one of those people who slipped on the dog poop....

Oh, and to contribute to fun facts: studies have shown that cows moo in different dialects. Thus a cow from California and a cow from Switzerland for example would not understand each other.
