    Attaching tail body ?

Hi everyone! I've been a bit quiet here lately since I've been busy with school And what not but since selling my tail i began writing in another one and made a mistake in the process...

Originally the plan was to make the body halfs seperate and leave a seam allowance bare of any silicone, sew the tail down said allowance, then fill in spots that weren't covered. I accidentally filled in my seam allowance though and i can't get the tail through the sewing machine now. Anyone have any ideas on how i can attach the halves?
( i tried soliconing together. It worked on the area belowthe knee but the waist and hips pop open when i try stretching even just a little bit. )

Would it be possible to cut away/remove the silicone to regain that allowance?

You could try a hand sewing method maybe...something like an awl or needle tool is very helpful to make holes beforehand so you can sew thicker materials...And then add some more thin silicone overtop to help disguise it?

Oh! Or maybe if you have any mesh(?) leftover you might be able to attach it from the inside somehow? Just a strip down where the seam needs to be...

I'm going to try once more to attached it like i did the lower half. I'm thinking maybe it keeps snapping because I'm not sealing the entire side (i leave a section unsealed where i plan to put extra fins in) up try sealing the entire side including fins at once and give it a few days to set Before trying it on again

Update on this: in figured out how to attach it and I've already done the hip fins as well. It sadly got too cold to finish the tail but all i have to do is the fluke and I'm done! I have pics but i have to host them somewhere so i can post it here
