Austin Mer Meet Up Anyone?

I have one mer friend, two at best. I am aching to go swimming sometime soon. I'm going to a lake tomorrow, but the rocks are too big and could hurt my already falling apart tail. Has anyone gone swimming at Barton Springs? I've been but it was a few years before I got my tail. I know it's freezing, but if anyone's up for it, I would love for us to host a small meet up to swim, take pictures, and just hang out! I can see about dragging my friends with me since Jenna and Elizabeth both have tails too.

Barton Springs doesn't allow tail swimming

But there are so many great swimming holes on the greenbelt, not sure how heavy your tail is for hiking, but also Krause Springs is great and less hiking (though still some walking and going down an incline)

Wow, I didn't know that about Barton Springs. My tail is pretty light. (It's fabric) Plus I love hiking, so that's not a problem. I've never heard of Krause Springs, but I will look into it. I'm just looking for a natural fed pool since my hair is dyed and chlorine has taken its toll on my tail over the years.
