How Do I Convince My Friends To Be More Environmentally Conscious?

Ever since I was a kid, my parents have actively taught me about the environmental impact every action has on the planet. They are part of a conservation program, so it's been pretty easy for me to be conscious. However, I've been having a hard time trying to make my friends understand how clothes add to the negative impact. They wanna be fashionable, I get that. However, is it so hard to be sustainable? I've also asked them to go for denim since it has a much lower effect on the planet and can never go out of style. I'm not sure how else to convince them. Did you guys ever have to go through something like this or am I alone in this?

i can understand how frustrating it can be! you should introduce them to a few sustainable brands or thrift stores. maybe seeing the pieces in person would change their minds!

sadly, some people will be ignorant no matter what you do, so i suggest you take it a little bit easy on yourself. you can only try so much, after all.

It's like convincing a vegan to try out pork chop. It's not really possible you can't force your ideas on everyone.
Just find out a group of people who are into this

Exactly my point. You cannot change everyone. If they don't want to listen, just ignore them
