Adhering Cured Scales onto Neoprene

Hi,
I'm planning on casting some scales and then putting them on either neoprene or power mesh once they're cured. How do you adhere them? I know you can pin them, but what's the next step?

More silicone. Do a test to make sure the neoprene won't interfere with the curing process. I would use power mesh. Much cheaper

Thanks Mermaid Brandie. So you just smear uncured silicone onto the material and then press the scales on?

Yes. Smear it on. Pin the scales. Once that's cured smear more on on the inside of the tail tube. Then more on the outside over the scales for a clear coat.

Make sure your scales are washed really well if you've used a release agent in your mold
