Thread: Airbrushing Fabric?

  1. #1

    Question Airbrushing Fabric?

so for my next tail I'm going to be making it out of spacer fabric (it's a polyester and spandex blend). I bought lumiere paint and would like like to airbrush my tail instead of hand paint it. Is there a way to thin the paint so that I can use it with an airbrush?

Airbrush medium worked fine for me, that and a good compressor and not that damn blue one they sell at Michaels. Curse you blue waste of money, curse you.

This aside be aware the paint does fade over time until you're left with just the mica sheen of the minerals used in the paint, so you may need to coat it with something else to give it a bit more longevity.
