Looking for Liability Insurance as a Tailmaker

    Hi folks,

I am about to launch FinTail Fusions, now that our web interface is almost complete. I had procured liability insurance from a company that supposedly knew I'd be making mertails. Today I received a cancellation notice for said insurance policy, because they don't cover companies that make mertails. I'm kind of at a loss now. Can any other professional makers share the name of an insurance company they work with that is okay with insuring tail creators?

I think standard business limited liability insurance should work. I'd reach out to a few groups for free quotes! they moreso insure things like your tools, workspace, etc. It wouldnt insure the tails when they go, so you'd need some kind of disclaimer.

This is one of the reasons i stopped making tails actually. I felt like I would need to speak to a lawyer about liability in case of accidents in the tail. If you figure it out, let us know!

Finding the right liability insurance as a tailmaker is definitely crucial, especially when you're dealing with custom work and unique products. It’s so important to protect yourself and your business from potential risks. When I was looking into insurance options for my own small business, I realized how different companies can be in terms of coverage and customer service. If you're also in need of broader insurance services, like car insurance, checking out options like churchill car insurance could be beneficial. It's always a good idea to compare providers and read up on customer experiences before making a decision. Peace of mind is everything when you're running a business!
