Thread: Opinions on scale color?

    Opinions on scale color?

I'm working on a second tail just for fun, not for cosplay or anything, but I'm not confident on my scale color choice. I'm using a mint fabric and just tested using a sparkle rose gold fabric spray paint as the scale color. I think it looks fairly cute, but that it almost gives a sunburned appearance. If I don't do the rose gold I'll have to buy a different color of paint altogether. Any thoughts?

I like it, but I see what you mean about sunburnt.
It's more like a sun warmed tint. Maybe try a plain gold, as opposed to rose gold.
I love the contrast though. <3

Thanks for the advice y'all! I did end up going with a plain gold, and it looks pretty good! Here's a test swatch I did, pics of the tail itself to come.
