Pin on pin off I didn’t realize that putting scales together was so tedious! Props to all who make individual scale tails!❤️

How much pigment do you use when you mix it into your silicone? Do you have a certain ratio or just wing it?

I use a sculpting tool and it’s like a very small spear depending on how much I’m making I count them as spoon scoops

Awe, crud! I wish I saw this sooner so I could give you a pointer on something. When making your fluke, I was going to tell you to sculpt it a tiny bit wider around the foot pocket area because you have to compensate for it not being a flat surface and for it it go around something. It looks like it will be hard to sandwich together unless you really stretched the silicone over it and then adhere it together. Good luck! It's all looking great!

BIRD!!! My budgies are too skittish to come near my work :C They're being gracious enough at least to let me steal their training perch for draping the fin rays I'm working on.

Been enjoying watching the process so far!

Oh thank goodness I replied, then! I thought you already made the mold for it! lol I learned that the hard way with my tail I made, too. I made it bigger on the sides but it is cutting it close to not being able to go around the monofin, it fits but barely lol. Didn't want to see someone go through the same mistake and lose time and money!!! <3

Nice I just wish I had a table or something to keep the sculpts off the floor but for now that’s all I got and the back pains are serious after being hunched over for hours but it’s all with it! And thanks for watching it makes this more or Gould I say less tedious knowing that people are watching and waiting, oh I think I said it before somewhere but I love the pic you have for avi
