I know some of us on Facebook has been talking about a meetup on the day of the mermaid parade- i believe its june 23rd..lol I'll be there, camera- and GoPro (and microphone) on hand, Whose game to meet up talk tails and take photos ?

Every year Coney Island Has a giant get together and all mermaids and mermen get together to celebrate mermaids : its amazing!

Firegypsy was in the parade last year with her black and red tail, I think. I'd love to be in the parade but I'm not sure if I'll still be in the area around that time.

I was planning on going- gonna wear my new tail, too, if I can con my bf into pushing me around on a cart or something I'd love to meet up!

Spindrift, I was thinking the SAME thing.

When I designed my orca tail, I wanted some serious fin action like this one.

This is amazing. Like litterally, hands down, one of the most impressive things I've e ver seen. I wish I could go to that meetup. D:

The dorsal fin is soft enough to sit on, but rigid enough to stand on it's own. As you can see in the photo, all but the first spine of the dorsal fin is standing under it's own support.
