Did You Name Your Tail? SHARE!!!

Sorry if there's already a thread for this, I looked but no luck...Anyway, I know a lot of people name their tails. I've never really gotten on the bandwagon for that, but I'd like everyone to change my mind by sharing with me what they've named their tails!

If you want to talk about WHY you gave your tail this name, please share that as well <3
Of course photos are warmly welcomed too ^_^

When it comes to naming things, I'm just horrible at it. My tails are just name after the creators.

Hahaha, I'm the same way. I reference my tails by color though, I'm wearing "the big red one" in my profile and signature pic lol. There's also "the big blue one" "little gold" "little red" and "little blue".

I have one fabric tail that used to be the exception to that rule of naming by the tail maker. It's made out of the cosplay scale fabric however the maker used a different fabric for the fin part (couldn't find any conversation mentioning a different fabric was to be use and I used the search feature) which just happen to chip in the first swim. When her friend told me I shouldn't be upset over a demo tail doing that, I named it after the tail maker as I was never told it was a demo tail (the tail maker did mention to me as she was making the tail that she was thinking of making a demo for herself). Fun times! I'm keeping that tail maker nameless except for those I see in person who sees the tail.

Oooooh yeah! I started naming all my tails about a year ago and love it so much! There's way too many to list off here (and a few that don't even have a name yet!) But they all have a special meaning and I love getting the creative help of my followers too!

I settled on Terpsichore for my tail, because she's the Muse of dance and I'm a Dancing Fish.

Dancing Fish, that's such an incredible name! Sounds really mystical and powerful. And Faithonthebass, list your top 3! I want to hear some inspiration <3 How many tails are in your collection? It sounds like a dream come true

I did name my tail! It didn't take more than about a day for me to find the perfect name for her. I dubbed thee Kida after the most overlooked Disney princess. I name's her that because my tail is based on a fish from the amazon river that most don't know of. the Arapaima. I consider it one of the Queen fish of the Amazon so i thought it was a fitting name. In addition to my tail being named after Kida I will also be doing the Atlantis Princess's facial markings for my gigs (as soon as any present themselves lol) and for photo-shoot outings. what do you guys think?

I name my tails after the fabrics that I used. For example, the first tail that I made, the fabric is called Aloha something... So the tail is named, The Aloha Tail!
2nd tail, the fabric is Havaiana Floral Blue/Green, which I call the Camo Tail because the kids at the pool pretty much ignore me when I wear it.

All my homemade tails have some kind of floral print on it, except for the one where I got from Spandex World. Geez! That was expensive shipping!!!

I named my first and only tail Piper. It was going to be my mermaid name but it didn't sit right. I loved the name so I gave it to my tail. - Nyx
