Working with Tailmakers--What to Expect?

I've heard so many wonderful things about Mernation. Their designs are really beautiful and their work looks like it's high quality. Apparently the communication is good too, so that's awesome.

I too can vouch for MerNation. I ordered my current silicone tail from them a few years ago, and the quality is not only great, but the customer service was out of this world! They got my tail to me in a matter of a week after the final deposit was made, with every single one of my specifications (including a super-complicated paint job!) The communication is phenomenal- they usually respond the same day or within the same hour that you write them, no matter how urgent you need them, and if anything were wrong with your tail, they find a way to fix it easily.

However, I can't vouch for many other silicone tail companies. I'm about to receive my Mythic relatively soon, but I don't need it right away. My experience with Mertailor was short-lived, but he does respond to instagram posts pretty quickly. And the only other tails that I can honestly preach about are Finfun's designer line (they're all amazing!).
