How many near by mers would be able and willing to do a fund raiser if one was planned? I just think it would be really cool if as a community we did something big we can have a photo opportunity for a fee maybe talk to a few photographers make a cook out out of it get some blowup slides and so on. Also wondering how many would be interested in helping plan something like this and what cause we would want it to be for. Just something iv been thinking about a lot lately

I'd be down to do a fundraiser! What location were you thinking of? I've got a couple of friends at school who are photography students. I can ask them if they'd be interested in documenting the event but there should be some compensation for them. I don't think it'd be fair to ask them to stop their work and come do something for free.

I agree they would be compensated and for location i was thinking maybe an open field somewhere i know of one in Fruitland park we could probably use but that probably wouldn't be as convenient for others did u have anything in mind

Yes, I think a beach would be great! I live up in Savannah, GA but I'd be willing to drive down to Jacksonville for a meetup. I don't think I would be able to go any farther than 2 hours though. I've got a lot of school work I need to keep under control.
