    Abalone shell top

I found that rubbing PearlEx pigment powder onto shells is a good way to change to color but keep it looking natural!!

I wanted to keep the natural look of my abalone shells but also wanted them blue, and my powder did just the trick!! Will make updates on top progress!!!

Exactly what i was going for! They're a gorgeous dark turquoise, but still have a natural color variation!!!! Gonna buy some clear spray paint to seal the color in tomorrow!!

Those turned out very beautiful Memory, The blue while still natural look is quite intriguing and I look forward to seeing more progress as you move forward with your top. Have you decided on any other elements for it yet?

I plan on adding some gold coated shells around it, and attaching some prop pirate coins that loop around the back. I will be using some decorative fishnet as straps! I will probably sketch it out soon!

Got some shells, and found a pretty arrangement to attach them in!!!

I used the same technique as the abalone, but this time with gold pearlEx powder

All i need are some glass pearls and fishnet, then i can put it all together!!!!!
