That close up of the one on the right makes it look like it melted in the stove or something. It just looks... off.

this one on the bottom right would be the one that reminded me a LOT of the angler one...
looks like a melty angler. At least he put his own spin on it.
This one came up in my feed from someone else and at first I thought it was Kailani's merbella tail...
so far she was the only one I'd seen with that sort of colour scheme but I guess we can't keep our tails as unique as we'd like. Everyone's going to do a version
I think Eric's is more of a tigertail than Kailanis tail.
Those new flukes look interesting, though. And I do kinda like the one on the right for coelacanth reasons, even if it's not totally the same. :P
I did some last year, but I've set that design aside for when I'm ready to play around with silicone. (here's the thread they're in)
I really like this fluke though. The blended waist trend is going strong too...
Ooo! Leaf fluke!

I'm not sure that's a blended waist I think it's the frame he puts the tails on sometimes. The blended waist trend is going strong too...
See here:
Don't forget that the fins, the fluke and all that goes with the tail have been made by the ex-boyfriend. The only thing that is Eric's work is the painting. That is IF it's even him who painted or one of his co-worker. As usual, he didn't give credits.
Typical.. *shrug*

That black/white/yellow with the spade fluke is really striking.
As a marine biologist, the clownfish pattern with the pointed tail is bugging me way more than it should bug a normal person.

yeah, clownfish tails are rounded. it's pretty tho, I'm not complaining.

Ravens clownfish doesn't have a rounded fluke either.
