    Silicone butterfly themed tops

    After finishing my 4th tail, I figured it was time to make some matching tops.

    My first silicone top:



    Made to match my latest tail. Really happy with how it turned out!

    And I’m not far away from finishing my 2nd silicone top:



    This one is made for my orange tail, and I’m loving how it’s turning out.

    I think my seashell tops will be retiring soon!

    Silicone butterfly themed tops

    I am going to make a top this weekend and I have a question. When you did your halter neck, did you just take the straps off the bra? (I know that probably sounds like a stupid question...)

    Oh and beautiful tops BTW. I love how it glows in the dark.

    Mermaid Izzy - not a stupid question at all! And yes, I just cut the straps off.

    I put the top on and held the halter strap in place to work out exactly where it needed to attach and how long it needed to be. If you’ve got someone to help hold things in place, it makes that a lot easier!

    You can use a felt pen or marker to draw on the silicone and mark where the straps need to go.
