Lightbulb Have You Tried Glamping Before?

So, I'm thinking about taking my family on a celebratory vacation. I just got a job and would like to show them my appreciation for pushing me ahead no matter what. We're quite an outdoorsy bunch and love to go for hiking, camping, and what-not frequently. But, because of our extensive number of trips, we've already tried several activities. So, I was looking for something new on ISPO and came across something called Glamping! Apparently, it's a luxury-meets-nature type of camping. Have any of you tried it before? If so, please let me know. I wanna consider it, but can't do so w/o reviews. Thanks in advance!

i def believe you're gonna love it if you give it a shot. i tried it last summer and had a blast!! we stayed in a yurt with all kinds of luxury facilities. it was like camping without the hassle of setting up a tent and dealing with unpredictable weather. i'm def gonna do it again!

It's a once in a lifetime experience that you shouldn't miss out on! I mean, come on, wouldn't you want to get the feel of staying in a luxury hotel while being in the middle of a forest? Since your family loves adventure, I totally urge you to go for it!

If you are just going for trekking and want to be away from the city then this isn't a good idea

But this thing isn't about adventure. It is just spending some time with your family in a luxurious place and that's it
