The only caveat is that you need to learn at least a bit of the special 'programming'-language the program uses for stuff like text that only shows if something else has happened before in the story, save games and the like.
When you said text adventure, my mind clicked and I couldn't believe I forgot about this. A guy here in my home state of Utah made a program called AiDungeon.

This is artificial intelligence controlled text based adventure, and it's completely free, both online and as an app (it doesn't even have any ads!)

I've had crazy amounts of fun with it, and I'd imagine that for the purpose of having a mer themed story, y'all would enjoy that as well.

Although the AI doesn't work all the time, I was actually successful in playing a few stories with different settings where I became a merboy.

Just lead the AI along carefully, start your entries off with a verb, and eventually, you can make pretty much any story you want. I played a story where I was Eric from the Little Mermaid, and instead of Ariel becoming a human and staying on land, I became a merman and joined her under the sea.

I've already seen it and despite it being quite an interesting experiment and achievement, I found it a bit too much of a hassle to have really fun with it. I love seeing scientists using text adventures and things like dungeons and dragons to train their AIs with, but when I'm the consumer I prefer stories that are coherent and are pre written, since it gives the story focus and a a direction, even if it of course limits the possibilities.

I run several minecraft servers here at my apartment. I am totally going to have to give this a try as one of the servers I run is modded with forge and running 1.7.10

Have to mention for those who haven't seen it yet:

There's a game that just came out called Call of the Sea. It's a first-person puzzle game with absolutely stunning graphics as you unravel a mystery surrounding your strange illness, the disappearance of your husband, and unlock the secrets of the island. (Posted to this forum, so spoilers: fishy business awaits! )

PWI or Perfect World International has a race called Tideborns. Their mermaid forms are used to regain mana and meditation.

I had a character called Maerb when I played years ago.

I'm a huge fan of something like that, and I can tell you that at one point, I even thought of developing my own game about it. I discovered ilogos gaming studio, and I was really close to contacting these specialists, but something stopped me. Maybe it was a bad idea to quit, who knows, I'll think about it.

I moved to the country for a while and I'm bored as hell here. I don't know how to entertain myself. Can you give me any advice? In the city I liked to go to different places and have fun there. I used to go to gambling clubs and casinos, I liked them a lot. Now I found onlfy casino canadamongolia.ca , I think I will try it. I'm already climbing the wall with boredom.

To be honest, I haven't played video games for a hundred years, although I used to really like some games. Lately I've been getting more and more into gambling. I can definitely recommend the cool site Crypto Casino, which gives access to many gambling games to play and earn money. I can really advise this online casino to you.

Gaming has always been my passion, and I'm constantly on the lookout for new adventures. Recently, I stumbled upon this article https://howtoplay.blog/the-lord-of-t...rven-delights/ about The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria. Exploring the dark depths of Moria, encountering its mysteries and facing its challenges, it's an experience that truly immerses me in games rich world. I recommend this read to all avid fans of the details of the gaming world.
