    Member Map down?

sorry if this has been asked before, but is the Member Map working?
All I get is a blank white page with an "update your location"-button that does nothing when pressed.

I just checked, mine is the same.

I don't think I've ever used it before though, so I don't know if it ever worked in the first place.

I’m running into the same problem too.

This is a TLS issue (the HTTPS site tries to include active content delivered via HTTP).

A temporary workaround is going to
    about:config
    in Firefox.

    and set security.mixed_content.block_active_content to false.

Please note that you schould reset the value to true after you are finished.
The reason, why this request is blocked is because embedding the file is very dangerous (allows injection of malicious scripts into secure pages).

The fix for the page would be adjusting the script URL to Google Maps to https.

I have no idea how to change the coding in the script for vbulletin plugins :/ I can see the code by inspecting the element, but I can't edit it. I've gone to the mod thread where we got it, and no one else has figured out how to fix this either- and it's been years since the first person posted asking about that. So.. we might just have to scrap the member map.

You probably only have to edit the plugins source file (replace http:// by https://) then it will work again. I do not have the code nor access so I cannot patch it.

It's a plug in that's installed into the vbulletin software, so I can't access the source code on the site as it is. Not sure why this is. Looks like I might have to edit a copy of the code (I downloaded again from where I got it). But to fix it, I think I'd have to uninstall and reinstall the plug in (with the change), therefore deleting all of the user input thus far and starting over. Then maybe send out a mass PM or something asking people to add their location again? I guess it's worth a shot. If I can figure out how to do it! I don't even have a program that can even open and allow me to edit the files, so that would be the first step. In case you can't tell, I have noooo idea what I'm doing haha

I don't know how it works in vBulletin but in other PHP based software it is just an archive (zip, tar.gz or something like that). that contains the PHP files.

In that case the archive just needs to be extracted, modified and packed again and uploaded or the files directly uploaded via SCP, SFTP or FTP (depending on the server side software).
