I'm new, so any advice, or tips will help. I got a tail about 3 weeks ago and I'm waiting for a chance to swim in it!

Hey! I'm in the midwest too! I want to join a pod so I don't feel so alone in this. I'm new to the mermaid community, and I don't have any mermaid friends. 
I haven't gotten the hang of this online presence thing yet. I hope you (or someone) can get back to me... It would be nice to hear from someone else in the mermaid-ing community.

Hiya May! Welcome to the Network (official off-chat welcome)! The pods are accessed in the Permissions Groups of your settings page here - http://mernetwork.com/index/profile....editusergroups
Once you have that set you should be able to access the pod forums to start chatting from there!
